Account & settings
Manage your profile and security, and find your way around the Settings panels.
Settings is where you manage your own account and your workspace. It's organized into three groups, each covering a different scope.
The settings panels

Your profile
Settings → Profile holds the two things Compass keeps about you:
- Display name — how you appear to everyone else in the organization. Yours to change.
- Email — read-only here. It's the address your sign-in is tied to, and invitations are matched by it.
Security
Settings → Security covers your password, two-factor authentication (authenticator apps, security keys, and backup codes), and the sessions this account has open.
Those are changes to your sign-in itself, so Compass doesn't handle them in the app. Manage sign-in & security opens your account's own sign-in page in a separate window, where you can change your password, set up or replace a second factor, and sign out sessions you don't recognize.
If your organization signs you in through its own system, that panel says so instead — ask your administrator to make those changes.
Organization settings
The Organization panels manage your workspace rather than your account. What you can change there depends on your role — renaming the organization, managing people, and setting spend limits are limited to organization admins. See Members & roles for who can do what.
Programmatic access
The Developer group is where you create API keys to call Compass from your own code. Because keys carry access to a project, they're covered with the rest of the developer material:
